Day 1: 9am: We start the day with a delightful breakfast at Bespoke Kitchen, before our adventurous alpine excursion up Queenstown Hill, 500 metres from town, and the beginning of our Douglas Fir journey. As we precede higher up the mountain, in an area of burnt manuka, a plaque has been laid bearing the Maori name for the hill, Te Topu-nui. The summit offers delightful views towards Coronet Peak, Lake Hayes and the Crown Range. Wear strong walking shoes because much of the track is on rock and bring warm clothing as protection from possible wind at the summit. Our driver will return us to our hotel for the evening. Once we have refreshed ourselves in our rooms, plus a light healthy lunch, Susan Pini, our passionate and deeply intuitive essential oil facilitator, from Barefoot Essentials, in Brisbane, will introduce Doterra essential oils & set our intention for the afternoon session. Susan will begin by demonstrating a Douglas Fir aromatic dressing, and take us on a holistic journey to health & wellness through an emotions & oils class. We will finish the day with a guided meditation bringing in all elements of fire, earth, air, water, and an awareness of the moon’s energy cycle.
Shared evening meal
Day 2: After beautiful healthy breakfast, we start the morning session with our intention for the day and in pairs, conduct an Angel card reading, where you also choose 3 oils for each other to put in diffuser, or ingest, or apply on skin. Susan will conduct aroma-touch throughout this time. Following this we all make our own special aroma bracelets. Conclude the day with a sharing session and blessing ritual.
